Ravaging an Industrial facility in Beit Kahil North Hebron

 Description:

Wednesday, February 9th 2022 , the Israeli Occupation authorities raided an industrial facility, and ravaged a part of it , on the pretext of building without a license in Wad Al-Quff southeast Beit Kahil town north Hebron.

The owner, ‘Adel Karama (37) who supports a family of 6 among them 4 children, was shocked of an army force accompanied by border guards and the building and organization department in the civil administration and 3 bulldozers raiding the area and ravaging his property.

 The Occupation’s machineries ravaged a road around the facility about (30 m * 5 m) . In addition to ravaging a paved area around the facility used as a garage for trucks, the ravages destroyed 500 m2 , out of 4000 m2.

The Occupation forces also emptied a caravan that was used as an office , and were going to confiscate it , but the owner and his relatives were protesting at the location and managed to save it.

Karama established this facility 3 years ago , which specializes in iron formation , and producing truck compartments in addition to other related productions.

The Occupation authorities served a halt of work notice for the facility in 2019 , the owner prepared the legal file and assigned a lawyer to submit an objection , but the occupation authorities refused the objection and carried out the demolition.

Karama said that his loss amounted to 250 thousand Shekel (70 thousand $).

The facility is on the side of bypass 35, noting that the occupation forces during the construction two years ago, showed up and confiscated the excavators to Kfar ‘Etzion colony , and the owner had to pay a large fine to get them back.
