Description:
Wednesday, September 23rd 2020, the Israeli Occupation Authorities demolished structures in Khallet Taha west Dura south Hebron, on the pretext of building without licenses.
About 9:00 am, Massive army forces, border guards accompanied by heavy machineries raided the area of Khallet Taha and carried out a demolition operation.

In September 14th 2020, the occupation authorities had targeted the structures with “Removal of new buildings” notice, and gave the owners only 96 hours to demolish the structures,
The targeted facilities belong to:
- Citizen Mohammed Qateel : The Occupation authorities ravaged and sabotaged a plot (200 m2).
- Citizen Mufeed Hamdan: The Occupation Authorities destroyed a water reservoir built of concrete , the reservoir was built above the ground with a storage capacity of 70 m3 , in the same context the occupation forces demolished house foundations (50 m2) , and ravaged a 150 m2
- The occupation forces cut and ravaged electric power distribution columns belong to Dura municipality , which caused an electricity cut on parts of the Village.
- Demolition of a tent: The Occupation machineries demolished a tent belong to two families belong to Al-Suwaity clan , Israeli illegal settlers have been harassing the families living in the tent , until the occupation forces showed up and demolished them.
The Occupation Authorities referred to military order (1797) for 2018 to demolish the facilities, the order allows The buildings inspector in the civil administration to remove any structure built during the last 6 months and inhabited for less than 30 days.
Such notices deprive citizens from their right to protect their properties, the occupation’s Supreme Court refuse petitions submitted for such notices, and prohibit citizens from applying to a license.
