The villages (Al-Mufqara, Ar-Rakiz and At-Tawani) are surrounded by Israeli colonization projects such as Avigal illegal settlement and bypass 317 , and Mitzpe Yaer  , in addition to Ma’on settlement , which is expanding rapidly.

At the time Palestinian houses are demolished , Israeli illegal settlers expand on confiscated Palestinian lands.
