One of the victims, Sameh Sa’sa’ (56) told LRC the following:

“Late 2019, I obtained a building license from Beituniya municipality to build a house for my family, after I set the foundations, The Israeli Occupation’s civil administration showed up and gave me halt of work notice on the pretext of building without licenses in C area.

I lost about 140 thousand dollars that I’ve been collecting for years; The Occupation is so cruel and their only goal is to destroy everything Palestinians build.”

Reportedly, The Israeli Occupation demolished an under construction house with a total area of (600 m2) at the same location in June 24th 2020, the house was composing of 3 floors (each one has a total area of (200 m2), the targeted house belongs to citizen Abdul Aziz Furukh (72) who supports a family of 7, while the other two floors belong to Mohammed Furukh (22) and Khaleel Furukh (27).
