Description:

Monday May 4th 2020 , The Israeli Occupation forces accompanied by a military bulldozer raided Al-‘Aqaba village east Tubas , and carried on demolishing an agricultural room with a total area of 16 m2 , built of bricks and zinc . This was followed by ravaging the surrounding of a water harvesting cistern with a storage capacity of 60 m3, that belongs to citizen Murad Jaber from At-Tayaseer.

Noteworthy, The Israeli Occupation forces raided the eastern entrance of Al-‘Aqaba village in April 27th , the notice numbered (10106) , refers to low 1797 that allows the occupation forces to remove new buildings, without giving the chance to the owners to object .

The targeted agricultural room is used in storing agricultural tools , while the water harvesting cistern provides irrigation water for 12 dunums planted with vegetables and other field crops , the owner supports a family of 6 , 3 of them are children.

It is located 5 km to the north east of Tubas, Al-Aqaba is surrounded by Ibziq (north), Tayaseer (west) , Al-Malih (east), Yarza hamlet (south).

Al-Aqaba has a population of 168 people in 2017 censes.

Its total area is 5057 dunums with only 40 dunums designated for construction according to the Israeli organizational plan.

There are 50 dunums exploited by colonization.

According to Oslo conventions, all of the villages lands are within C area.
