The Israeli occupation halts work on a house in Ma’en village / south Hebron

Description:

Monday January 6- 2020 , the occupation authorities notified a house that belongs to ‘Adel Hamamda” under claims of building on a plot that contains antiquities.

An eyewitness said that a vehicle related to the occupation’s antiquities department in the civil administration and an army patrol raided the area at 11:00 am ,and got to the location of the house , and hanged the military order on the house.

The military order numbered (0338) issued by the Responsible on the antiquities department in the civil administration, and threatened to use power to impose halting the construction works.

Hamamda built the house last year for his family that composes of 13 member , 12 of them are children, the targeted house is built of cement and bricks on a plot that that he owns in Ma’en, it consists of two floors with a total area of (360 m2) each floor is (180 m2).

However, the house is still on the construction phase , and was still to be inhabited before the occupation found an illogical pretext , to deny the family from having an appropriate house.

Noteworthy, the occupation target citizens residences and facilities recently in area C, under the pretext of building on a site of antiquities , especially in Ma’en area in Yatta, these notices aim to deprive Palestinians of their homes and lands.
