Stop-Work orders on residences east Hebron governorate

Details:

The Israeli Occupation Forces notified on July 10, 2017 two under-construction  residences of stop-work and construction in Al-Shuyukh town, east Hebron governorate on the claim of "unlicensed construction".

The orders mentioned that the structures were "unlicensed" and ordered an immediate halt on all construction works. July 31, 2017 was assigned as the hearing session of the Planning and Construction Committee- Israel Civil Administration in the Israeli court of Beit El to discuss the legal status of the notified structures.

The affected owners of houses said that a vehicle related to Israel Civil Administration raided the area ,hanged the orders on the targeted houses and took photos of them before they had left.

The targeted houses belong to the following:

1. Citizen Basheer Warasneh:

The affected citizen received the military order number 203529, targeting his under construction house (140m2) that is supposed to be home for six members including four children .  The attacking force threatened the construction contractor of detention in case he carries out further works.

2. Citizen Ismael Ayaydeh

The affected citizen received military order targeting his under construction house (150m2) that is supposed to be home for five members including three children.

It should be noted that Qinan Al-Nyas area, where the two houses are located had 100 dunums of its lands confiscated by the Israeli occupation as "state lands". Colonists are also reported to carry out attacks on lands and farmers of the area.
